Most Expensive Razor in the World

If you’re one of those people who have nothing better to do with their money because, well, you happen to just have so much of it, then this razor is for you. A Portland, Oregon-based company has developed Zafirro Iridium—a tougher-than-anything razor that can be had for a mindboggling $100,000.

What would you get in return for $100,000? Firstly, the razor’s handle is made from iridium, a rare, hard metal that is so strong it could resist corrosion even at temperatures over 2000 degree Celsius. For proof, you can drop the razor in a cauldron of molten lava and still be able to retrieve and use it for your daily shaving routine.

If its iridium handle is not enough to convince you to part with your $100,000, maybe the Zafirro Iridium’s pure white sapphire blade would. Zafirro’s white sapphire blade, the company claims, can assure you of at least 10 years of stubble-free existence. Aside from its unmatched sharpness, the blade is also hypoallergenic, as well as oxidation- and corrosion-free.

Due to the difficulty of producing the Zafirro Iridium, makers Bright Light Ventures, are offering only 99 pieces of the state-of-the-art razor.
